Each piece of Seb Brown jewellery is individually made to order and can take up to 3 weeks to produce. If the piece is in stock it will be delivered the same day or the following business day.
The design process is based around experimentation and each piece will vary slightly from the one pictured online. Often the lost wax casting method is used which ensures you will be the only one to own your piece - if you would like your piece to be exactly the same as the one pictured please specify via email.
Variations in stone colours, overall shape, texture and finish are normal, each piece is unique.
All care is taken to send out each piece in perfect condition. Each piece is safely housed in a sturdy jewellery box. We are not responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged in the post.
Orders over $250 are shipped with DHL express international, please provide your at checkout. Orders under $250 are shipped with Australia Post express.
Please use only warm soapy water to clean your jewellery. A metal specific polishing cloth can also be used to rejuvenate your piece. Unless specified our jewellery pieces are unpolished and can change colour over time (especially if left unworn). This is not a manufacturing fault, just the manner of the material.

Returns and exchange
If you are unhappy with your item, it can be exchanged free of charge (excluding postage and handling costs) for another item or a credit note. The piece must be returned to us within 14 days of original purchase. Returned pieces must be in original condition, unworn and unwashed, with a purchase receipt and original packaging.
Please return pieces in their original packaging or a sturdy box. Do not send jewellery to us in an envelope, this violates or return/repair policy and will be returned to the customer at their expense.
Bespoke returns and exchange
Due to the nature of designing and making a bespoke piece, returns or exchanges are not possible. Each piece is individually hand-made just for you. Jewellery can change with time and wear, we are unable to re-work or re-make pieces due to change of mind. We can clean, re-polish, repair or re-finish your piece for a small fee.
A refund will be given as a last resort if the piece received is faulty. We cannot offer refunds for items lost or damaged in the post or simply for change of mind. Refunds are only possible within 30 days of original purchase. If a piece is deemed faulty after 30 days of original purchase it may be eligible for a free repair.
For client supplied sizes a $25 fee is incurred for re-sizing. This excludes return shipping. For rings sized by Seb Brown Pty Ltd in the studio, a re-size will be done free of charge. Re-sizing must be organised within 30 days of delivery of the jewellery, and anything outside this will incur a $25 fee.
Seb Brown jewellery has sustainability as a core value and therefore encourages repairs of broken jewellery. Free repairs (excluding postage and handling fees) are offered on pieces deemed damaged due to poor craftsperson-ship. Anything beyond fair wear and tear can be repaired for a small fee mutually agreed on by us and the customer.
For commissioned pieces a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the order. The deposit amount is negotiable but cannot be refunded.

We will never share your private information with any third parties, excluding DHL international for shipping purposes only.
Please do not drop your pearl jewellery on hard surfaces, submerge in water, wear with open woven clothing, spray with perfume or expose to cream/makeup of any kind. Pearls should be cleaned with a damp cloth but never submerged in water or sprayed with cleaning products. A good rules of thumb is to put your pearl jewellery on last.
